We are an Argentine company with more than 45 years of experience in the health market.

Our mission is to contribute to the development of the clinical laboratory through innovative and highly reliable products focused on clinical and specialized laboratories as well as blood banks.

Our varied range of products comprises kits and analyzers for Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation and Immunology assays.

The majority of them has been developed by a staff of researchers, technicians and qualified professionals at our own Research and Biotechnology Center (CIBIO). In addition, many of these products are the result of joint work with internationally renowned centers.

We are a leading company in Latin America, with distributors in the whole area and affiliate
companies in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

RESEARCH AND BIOTECHNOLOGY CENTER

Wiener lab promotes the mystic and vision of a company based on technological innovation.

Its developments are aimed to innovative products, in regards to their practical application and adequacy to the many segments of the market.

In our Research and Biotechnology Center an important group of researchers envision and develop the products which will supply tomorrow’s market.

Wiener lab has an ongoing improvement process in all its products line and is also devoted to trace the new technological trends of the sector.






PRODUCTS POLICY

The development of our products is oriented to fulfill laboratory needs.

The basis of our manufacturing technology covers a variety of areas, such as:

-Development and production of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies for several tests: Hepatitis, pregnancy, blood typing.

-Antigen production and purification for the diagnosis of parasitic (Chagas disease, Toxoplasmosis), bacterial (Brucellosis, Salmonellosis) or viral (Hepatitis, AIDS) diseases.

-Research applied to the field of molecular diagnosis, such as nucleic acids.

-Research in other disciplines related to Biotechnology.



MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Our manufacturing facility is located in Rosario, one of Argentina’s most important cities, being the most modern plant in Latin America, due to its design, capacity and technology.

Wiener lab complies with the most demanding international requirements (see Certifications).

Special emphasis has been made in the training of the personnel in each area as the requirements and activities performed are very different and specific.
